Whitley Law was built to practice law differently.

Fewer cases. More attention. Deeper commitment.

Matt Whitley represents individuals in serious civil matters involving civil rights, consumer protection, and personal injury. His work is grounded in preparation, communication, and the belief that every case deserves to be understood before it is reduced to a claim, file, or settlement number.

The firm exists for clients who need thoughtful representation and for attorneys who need a capable plaintiff-side partner when a case requires focus, strategy, and trial readiness.

Matt’s career has been shaped by service, advocacy, and courtroom experience. Before founding Whitley Law, he served as a middle school math teacher in Indianapolis, a prosecutor handling major felonies and crimes against women, a judge advocate in the U.S. Army Reserve, and a trial lawyer for people harmed by negligence, abuse, and civil rights violations.

Those experiences taught him a lasting lesson: show up prepared, speak plainly, and stand with people who should not have to stand alone.
